How billing works
No surprises on the invoice.
- Credits
- Your balance is in USD. Each request is debited at the per-token price of the model used: input tokens, output tokens and, where applicable, cached input tokens. The dashboard shows the exact cost of every request.
- Limits
- Each API key can have a monthly spend limit. When a subscription allowance runs out, a key either continues from credits or stops, depending on the setting you pick per key.
- Invoices and VAT
- Every purchase produces an invoice you can download from the dashboard. Prices exclude VAT; VAT is applied at checkout for EU customers. Businesses with a valid EU VAT ID are invoiced under reverse charge.
- Credit validity
- Credits stay valid 12 months from your most recent purchase. Any top-up, including auto top-up, extends the whole balance.
- Subscriptions
- Billed monthly. Cancel any time; the plan stays active until the end of the paid month. Allowances reset monthly and do not roll over.
- Refunds
- Unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase under EU consumer rules, minus what was consumed. See the refund policy.
